revit - place the beam tag in the middle of the beam itself

Good evening,

Surely it will be a stupid question...... but I wanted to know if it is possible to automatically place the beam tag in the center (in the plane), instead of having to do it manually for each one.
I can only place it outside and attached to the beams.

thanks to all

...I was also wondering if there was a way to tag the measurements directly on the sides of the pillar section, as I often see in autocad and fill, automatically, the sections of the pillars and walls with a sampling. Consider that we are in revit structure, I do not know if there are differences with architecture in this regard.

but not automatic. you will need to create a label that reads the parameters of width and height in separate seat and place them by hand.
...and automatically fill the sections of the pillars and walls with a sampling.
sure, using a material appropriately set with the samples you want to use

1) Yes, I remember trying also "beam annotation", but I managed only to place the tag on and off, instead I would like to be able to position it right at the center of the beam itself, as to say, superimposed. I probably miss something.. .

2) where do I start? also how do I insert the pillar parameters into the label? My level revit is not so high... .

3) I will try to do it, thank you

I don't remember if he can actually put it in the middle. but by memory the tag all does (it depends also on the family of label used)

begins by creating a family of structural pillar labels. . .

regarding the editor of the tag, I am able to change it as much as it allows revit, but I can't control both extremes, but it's not important.

about the sampling, I managed to change it and put the desired one, but now a problem with a "particular" section pillar was born, which I created. I set the material and sampling of the section, but, although I see, in the properties, my settings, these do not appear in the screen.
