Hello, everyone!
I have a problem with proe wf3.
I have a sketch drawn (an open curve, not closed). I do the offset of this and it creates my offset line.
Now I should create the solid of revolution (or the surface of revolution I love the same) of the offset line. The problem is she doesn't.
the only way I found is to recalculate the line with a sketch, but this is very uncomfortable because it is not a constant but variable offset sketch. ..this creates curves that aren't exactly geometric so I can't recalculate exactly. and anyway, in general, if I do the offset of an arc (for example), the line I get as a result is no longer identifiable as an arc...I think it makes a spline to the desired offset distance, so also sketching and using the arc as a reference, I do not mathematically refer to an arc
possible that there is no way to use my offset line for a revolution?
thank you for any answer.
