Hello.

I recently started following a video tutorial on rhino 4.0.

In the third lesson, the tutor says that it is not possible to act on the poly-superficial control points.

a poly-surface is obtained by joining 2 or more elementary surfaces.

It seems that once the poly-surface is created, I can't change it anymore.

Is this a real limitation?

is not a limitation; In fact, if you think about it, two or more adjacent surfaces, they would "should" if they had to move the cv the proximity of the edges. the only dignified system to change the cv on a polysurface is to use a deformation cage type "lattice deformation". in this way you can move all the cvs you want; solid domain remains topologically correct. . .

hi enrico,
what you say is not entirely correct, the polysurfaces cannot be changed through the control points of the individual surfaces, but just extract the surfaces and change them to recreate the polysurface, or you can use the udt commands to act directly on the polysurfaces.

Hi.

thanks for the answers.

I am at the beginning of rhino, so I will be able to appreciate your suggestions in a few days:-)
