Given that it is extremely easy and quick to create once a cruise with the masses, someone knows how to tell me how to make a rib like those in the photo, always working with the tools of modeling masses of revit 2011?

thank you all.. .

Have you tried with a route extrusion?

thanks for the answer:
Yes, I tried and works, but as "component"->" local model. with the tools of modeling masses "volumetries and planimetries" -> "local mass" I can not do it because there is no extrusion on path.
If they select the cruise arc and a 2d profile and then click on "create form" connects me the two geometries instead of extruding the profile along the arc...

I don't understand why you should create a conceptual mass with ribs.
is called conceptual mass because it is the form of "conception"; the details like those ribs represent a detail that in terms of concept I think they serve less than at nothing.

Good morning.
All right, you're right, conceptually you don't need to.. .
However, mine was only a theoretical reasoning, so much to better understand the possibilities of conceptual modeling.
So you confirm that with conceptual modeling you can't create a route extrusion. Good.

thanks and the next one....

Okay, I managed to find the solution. :finger:
modifying the conceptual mass already created I managed to draw a spline on the rib profile, to set the plan in a reference point, to draw the shape and finally to extrude on the path.

thanks to those who intervened.
