Hello everyone, I'm new. As usual attending the last year of the technical institute for geometri I find myself having to complete the road project. .the problem arises from the fact that for causes of health I felt about a month from school, remaining very backward. on autocad I have already made the tracciolino with curves and bends, plus the longitudinal profile. I ask you, is there a program to solve and draw sections and diagrams of volumes?
Thank you very much, I used the search function but I found nothing that could help me. .

I make a premise: use of software to do something you still need to learn will not help you for the future, you will arrive at the final result without knowing how in reality it happens and takes place all the process... software helps, but it does when one already has the basics. This is advice for you...

first you can take a look at the autosez 2 program of gp.
http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=17601as road design software, the only free that comes to mind now to recommend is topocal, I think it is still free:
http://www.topocal.com/as a student you could also access free self-desk software, which for students and teachers make the education license available free of charge, but there, with civilization 3d, you would take a life to understand it, I would advise you.

but keep in mind the premise I have given you.

hi,thanks for the answer, the fact is that the maturity approaches and I between therapies and recovery of other subjects do not find the time to do this blessed project....also finished this last year I will never see more road projects, I noticed too late that this is absolutely not the school for me...my only desire is to finish this project, trying to manage to deliver it for time.

p.s your premise is very correct, but I find myself in the situation of not being able to follow it. . .

I don't think masterworks can use autosez, should have a 3d model.
in fact... I have seen a little but it is quite complex, I have only the pebble rectified on 2d and the profile.. if you want to attach the file:confused:

Hi.
if you want I can send you a pdf with road sections type 1:50
send me to a private message your email
thank you, the problem is that I was looking for a software (also paid) that in addition to the sections could also make calculation of volumes, bruckner etc...
I answered you in p.m., thank you

I don't think that in a paid software with your tracciolino you would have results, they also work in 3d, or better they want curves or points at altitude, therefore of immediate and excellent use is autosez of gp, topocal has too many problems and have precluded for the moment decent sections and profiles, as Planner wrote also civil works the 3d and is a complex software with that program it takes dedication, time and so much patience.
a complete demo of another paid softwarehttp://www.meridianaoffice.com/contenuti/meridiana/download-demo-30-g-meridiana.htmlbut as said this also works in 3d.
moral if you want to do what you say you have to bring all the odds in 3d one by one, only question of elbow oil.

but how many sections do you have to do?
in my institute, the teacher of a course claimed almost a hundred, on another course no more than 10, only on a short stretch of the tracciolino; if you are in the second case and know the theory, if you put a Saturday and a Sunday full time solve the problem alone (and you learn it, especially, because, sooner or later, in the examination you will have to explain how you did); Furthermore, the time you would want to learn how a program works, how to insert data and solve inevitable errors would certainly be higher.

on this I fully agree, indeed in 2d "you can cheat" in 3d no or better is more laborious
This joseph happens when you arrive at the drips, and the computer looks like a magic wand that gives you everything, if you arrived at this point in looking for the software that helps you, it is because you do not have a real and global vision of what you have to accomplish, a friend of mine who helped me in an extraordinary maintenance of a mountain road where there was not a real diagram and not even dig and carry it, but the same sections
the important thing was that the half-car corresponded to the section marked in the profile, shoe and half-coast we had 10 meters on which to play.
beautiful result.
p.s. cm 30 of general pavement with mechanical means for road bottom accommodation.

Given that I don't know how to use this forum, someone could help me solve the stardale project, I came to the general planimetry and I don't know anymore, could you help me make the longitudinal profile? are only 35 sections

thanks for the courteous attitude!
I asked but unfortunately I have difficulty not having solid foundations of topography!
I ask if there is a software that automatically does the sections. .
