roll and rock wool seals in separate

Good to all,
I tried to look for but I didn't find anything about it, I'm looking for advice on how to manage consumable material in separate and design files.
I explain better, for work I have to manage in the drawings of the seals and/or rock wool that we use from roll, so I should draw the pieces and insert the ml for the seals and the square meters for the rock wool.

ok up there for the amount I also thought to do so, but at the file level? would you use virtual parts, configurations, separate files?

I would like to find the best solution not to mess up the file system etc etc.

this depends on your management method.
Do you have parts that are born and die with the asses?
do you have parts that are reused in multiple assemblies?
Do you manage them in separate folders?
