I don't see the connection between your post and this section. Maybe you're a student (or counselor as a profile??) but the subject exulates from the only university world. it was better to post it mechanical design.

the question asked so does not say anything; You will certainly need a "slow" system, but you should be more precise. How is it done? What's the point? what size does it have?
for the motorization you could fall directly to a gear motor, or with a toothed wheel "circular crown". . solutions can be many, but you need to know how the application will be.
