Bye to all,
I have a little problem with autocad.
I have to sample a closed space curved. and precisely in the fact that it is curved there is the problem. in fact autocad inserts all the sections of the sample (ansi31) all in the same direction but I in reality would like the traits to follow the curvature, changing progressively direction.
I attach the image so maybe the problem is clearer.http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/5929/56356768.jpgp.s: it's my first post in this forum, so if I made something wrong I apologize ^^^

There's no way to camp "in the corner."
If you just can't give up, divide the curve into sectors and do more fields, setting the angle from time to time.

bye

@tristan: what do you mean by 'barbette'?

@rpor66: if I divide into sectors and do the fields varying the angles comes out something abominable xd. I tried but in fact to do a decene thing I should change the angle for each indent of the sampling and probably lose a week xd

I forgot to ask you something else.
you can tell me where I can download sample libraries (e.g. ''wood'' etc... ) possibly free?

@tristan: what do you mean by 'barbette'?
If you don't know what they are then it's probably not what you're trying to do.
barbettes, however, represent a graphical agreement in the design of the shoe and are represented with different lengths perpendicular to the curves.

@ tristan: I solved the problem differently, perhaps more brutal but at least I solved it. I opened the dwg file in rhinoceros and I sn created a polar series of tot elements around the curve. in practice so the sampling I 'made it by hand' and I lost a lot of time.....
