sampling with quotas or texts

Hello, everyone.
I use catia v5 r18, but the problem also occurred in previous releases.
in the table of a section with quotas or texts inside the dashboard, in the view of the drawing the sampling appears outside me to an invisible frame, when instead I launch the print it overlaps with the texts.
in the properties of the quota there is the option "empty background" in which you can set "tracting" or "tracting and geometry", but this does not solve the problem.
It is not a serious thing, but it is annoying to have to read the value of a quota (magari with tolerances written in small) between the lines of the restraint.
What can you do? Is there any wrong approach?

You have to say it to your plotter to make the hole..... You only said it to catia.
go to the printer when plotted and in options you put to print the spaces..... see attachment:wink:

if you refer to the options "detail: hidden lines, axis, fittings etc" then no; usually not model all in 3d, threaded holes, cooling or other parts of the design I put them by hand on the table.
therefore the views and lines treated as in this case are 2d pure, isolated from the solid. the command "hidden lines" is for this disabled.
the only thing I managed to do was a search for elements with the "find" command in which I was looking and selecting only the elements of a certain thickness, then I created the dash by setting the manual selection of the profile.
I was wondering if there was a less snoring method, hoping for a simple option to enable or not...

Why do you make them in drafting? in partdesign you have the convenient possibility to create them and then automatically represent them and correctly in drafting!! !

it's a way of working (maybe unorthodox) that I dragged from the old catia v4, mainly because the stapler design only in 2d (and then fillets and coolings I find more convenient to represent only 2d even in matrix and punch), the coolings are performed with a normal drill (and therefore without the help of cam seemed useless to have them in 3d), finally for some defects that had

I don't design molds......... but I agree with falonef .
I initially did only studies with 3d ................... now I design also the sheaths of the wires and I do not touch + the 2d by years .........

cmq not making molds do not know your problems and I do not allow to tell you to do everything in 3d .
I would start with copying maybe things already done to impractice you and see how to handle you (maybe if you have them in free times) and then I am convinced that you will not touch + 2d ................ .

Maybe use basic models (3d) where at least once you think about everything, but just everything.

At first it costs you a little time but then go that it is a beauty.

You will always start from the basic model to adapt the configurations depending on the case.

of course connect everything with your drawings (views, sections, dictations) etc.

It will be enough later:
- a good management of files
- good management of various links
- change of components
- updating of drawings

when I quote a particular with the command "sequence rate", then can I make every independent quota?

I'm trying to get better off with the attached photos.

- I carry out my "sequence rate" as in photo1.

-I would like to get the photo2 result, so that each share is independent from the other, in practice "exploding/eliminating" the existing bond between them.

Hello, falonef, I try to explain better with the photos.

in photo 1 I entered the two quota modes.

in photo 2 I can delete a quota, if I try to delete one of the quotas in sequence erases everything.

with the command "selection mode" I can only partially get what I want.

in conclusion:
a)I carry out the quotation in sequence.
b)I would like to "explode" the link that exists between quotas and to find all independent quotas one from the other as if I quoted them normally (they tell me that with catia v4) it was possible.
