save axious parts

Good morning.

even inventor as catia works with this method of rescue in my inconceivable opinion, but perhaps there is a reason why I escape.

If I have a nominated part1 on the sidebar I go to save and I appoint it part1. All clear.
if now on the name of the part I replace to the call part2 if I go to save the program I rewrite on part 1 unless I tell him to save it as part2.
this also applies to the assemblies.
I do not understand why these 2 programs do so and what can be the benefits.

exists an option in inventor that allows to rename the new file by recovering it from the sidebar automatically both for the parts and for the assemblies?

the name you see on the sidebar (browser) is the default number part (not necessarily equal to the file name) linked to your set. If you tell them you don't change the linked file, the names don't match anymore.
My advice is to use the command under productivity (in assemblies) called save and replace component: select the file you want to replace the name and change it automatically creating a new file identical but with different name and number and already bound as the previous one. You're fine at this point.
