I put new materials in the library this morning but I wanted to make a copy of it. how can I from solidworks create a copy of the sldmat file?

Frankly I don't remember anymore since it's been at least 6 years since the last time I performed this function!

Thank you.

Excuse me. .
Maybe I didn't understand the question. .
Do you want to make a security backup copy?

Look where the file is saved, open the folder and copy/paste where you want to save it. .

or do you want to do anything else that I miss?

I want to make a copy but not in the same directory.... I would like to choose where to save it as a normal file. Is there a command?

Then do as I told you.
open the folder where it is saved, make a copy/paste where you prefer.. :

If you don't know the location of your library, which you find in the options> file position, right-click a library, then new library and automatically open the folder with the library. (this only serves to open the folder, you don't have to create anything)
at this point you just have to make copy/paste

Forgive me..... I want to try to save the file without making a copy.... Since six years ago I did it as a procedure, I would like to go back to doing it again.

Thank you.
