hello to all, work with autocad 2015, on a weight file of 8mb.
the file turns quite well despite a discreet number of layers, but when saved it takes 10/15 minutes. I also have different types of layouts that do not "load" quickly. It seems strange to me that 8mb can generate this slowness, but I have some suspicion that the layouts can be.
I have already done "purge" several times, what you suggest.
Thank you.

But did you create the whole design?
if you have received it from others try the command "_exporttoautocad".

What would this command serve? I typed and came out various options and also read the knowledge of autocad...but I didn't understand what I was doing:biggrin:

in good substance eliminates unnecessary information inserted in the drawing from other applications.
leaves all options with default values as well..
and let us know the outcome of the operation!
Thank you.

typed the exporttoautocad command I made a simple " Send - Send" and the command processed something. then I settled and noticed a particular...low to right the bar was "loaded" indicating the % rescue in seconds, but the design was freed for about 4 minutes. So much better. I have two questions at this point:
1) but some command options should I choose an option? (the most reliable is the first: "format"
2) when freeza appears a "sav3c7d.tmp" and then disappears. Perhaps it is the formation of this tmp to slow everything down?

However even three minutes are too many for a modest file, it should take a few seconds.

attention: if you have given <invio> <invio> the command created a new file with the same name as your file preceded by the prefix "acad-". this is the file you should open. (I didn't know if you already did....)
for formats, they are influential to me.</invio></invio>

I had actually opened the original file. I did the test on the file with acad prefix and I had to always wait about 3 minutes. I also saw that the acad file weighs 6mb while the other 8mb
