search box creo3 do not find children family table

We have a problem in the technical office that has been presented from evening to morning!

white point, this morning, the search box (when you open it to us) displays more "children" than family tables! I find only fathers but it is very difficult for us to work like this. even doing "show all versions" I don't get kids... setting "all variants" do not get results, but jumps out a message in the main window "too many variations to list.
Do you have any idea what you set up to not give me all the results?

I believe the longest is from 150 children

If I do "open" happens what I wrote before, if instead I go with the browser you see my children (xpr) but it doesn't let me open them. . .

150 children are not few to process (consider that you see the preview, which means that in fact it has to create tumbnail), I hope that there are mostly parameters that change and not just main geometries.

the problem is in the size of the .idx file in the workbook; such file contains correspondence between generic and instance and cannot be larger than 512 kb (256 kb in 32-bit systems)

for security try regenerating the .idx file: file -> management session -> updating index -> sending -> sending

if not so it works you should move something to another folder (free?) and use search path

then the question is somewhat complicated as we have the workbook sharing on one drive (not fucilatemi!). I have a set of idx files for each workbook, however I have cleaned up now.

idx file is heavy 257kb, the systems used are all 64bit.

However changing the workbook with another "lighter", inside which there are fathers and children, the search works perfectly. so we can say that the workbook we use usually weighed too much.

I will try in the next few hours to lighten the folder, in the meantime I thank you very much!
