search component used in multiple axioms

I do not use pdm/plm otherwise it would be easy, I wonder if it is possible to know through inventor in which a component is used. In case of negative response, how do you do? (for those who do not use pdm)

Actually you can do it with design assistant,
you have to open the part you want to implode (i.e. where used) , select where to look for the part (.iam) and then select find it. clearly, not being a search indexed with dbase, if the files are many, and the beautiful server full..... it will take a little time

hi, matteo, I tried as the first solution you proposed.
However I go into loop and arrived at the end of the folders start again without finding anything (I'm sure the chosen is used in at least one set). What version do you have?

I also use it to duplicate, I didn't know about the search "where used".
even if to tell the truth, now to duplicate I found another tool that gives the possibility to copy also the boards of the components directly when copying the axieme, as a vault. with design assistant should be done in two steps because if you make the copy of the axieme it makes you see only the components of the axieme and the tables of the axieme itself but not the components.

works, the speed depends on the indicated search path, in my case 4/5 minutes for folders dedicated to that type of project that counts a few thousand files and hundreds of .iam
