I would like to install on laptop autocad 2010 but it is very heavy in my opinion there is something open source leaner?? with same characteristics?? ? is it better than 2010? ? ?

I say that in fact 2010 is heavy and it takes a powerful computer, especially a laptop, the minimum would be with memory of at least 1 giga dedicated to graphics, and 4 gigaonboards, win 7 64 bit
of opensource or free does not exist anything comparable to autocad, there are free a9cad type, and others but the comparison does not hold, so the only sensible answer was a laugh thinking that you had written a joke.

Hello I installed autocad 2010 on laptop: ram 4gb s.g 512mb works well with op.windows7 system. it has been better

liber (hello) 2010 works benign even without the dedicated ram gb of the sk video.
just free graphic resources.
I have a portable win7 with 4gb ram and a very bad integrated intel4500.
disable all frills of the 7 (my looks like a win2000 at startup) and you will have a general performance advantage, not only of autocad.

it was nice comfortable but when I had to go back to dwg it saved me everything wrong, thick lines etc... I tried to configure it in conversions but nothing to do!

mauro I am trying 2011 on a sony Vaio, bought not for the brand but for the features and the march more than other brands, depended on me I was away from sony. However it goes benign, overall to the 2d, for the 3d I have to see I did not have time, considering your advice would be a sin to reduce it as win2000 removing the frills, that is transparencies the first etc etc., if anything since it is a win 7 64 bit maybe increase the ram.
