hi to all, for some time known that the diameters of solids exported to stl become polygons and do not remain circles. Is there any parameter to set to ovviare?
thanks for the vs answer
First message, no introduction to who you are and what you do and the wrong forum section....... .
However, stl stands for "standard triangulation language". algorithms that generate a .stl have always triangulated and will always triangulate curved surfaces. That's how it works.
before you never noticed, because it was probably set some parameters that made the mesh of triangles so thick that you did not notice that your circle had been divided into many triangles.
I would ask you to move the question in the solidedge section (I suppose you refer to this software since you indicated it in description), more frequented by the usual users of this software, to have a practical answer on how to fix it.
