section/variable thickness brick cover

Good morning, I'm also a revit mole.

I have to model a somewhat complex cover, as I have a variable section that in turn has a variation of thickness/material relative to the different segments that compose it.

I put an image to explain myself better.

you would recommend me to create a special family of roofs, or maybe to create me the two disjoining elements (the sole cover and the rigiro a l)
or still use the masses, then assigning the category floor/tets?

revit already of its manages the variability of thickness in the family of system of the floors, so you only have to create a family that has that variable layer and then with the use of the secondary elements modifies the floor / roof. where you can't detail how you want, go to detail components and/or fields

p.s. but does the family agree that I create it in the same file-mother, duplicating it and modifying the geometry with the secondary elements, or should I create a completely new one - external to the file on which I am working - set it, modify its secondary elements (by creating the rigiri a l) and import it into my project?
