sections and brochures 2d

I do not use archicad but today a friend of mine who uses it said that you can only make sections and brochures 3d and that you can not draw in section or prospectus... but is true what ????? Can't 2d sections be made?

another thing..the solid operations where they are? If I want to make a cube, a cylinder, extrusions, boolean?

to draw in prospectus, do you intend to draw a 3d in prospectus or draw a prospectus to lines as you could do in pencil and team?
in any case on archicad you can draw 2d as in any other vector parametric program. It just makes little sense.

for the rest on archicad the Boolean operations are called solid elements operations, found in the design window.

work plans in 3d were introduced in realse 15. However, I would like to remind you that archicad is not a solid modeler but an architectural design software based on architectural primitives. your "classic" approach to the ion model leads you to think wrongly for the archicad environment and only complicates things.
