select objects before a command starts

Good morning to all,

I am a registered novello of the forum but thanks to you I have always solved all my problems related to autocad. Unfortunately I have an old problem and a new one that appear unresolvable. . . a new challenge in short:

problem 1: despite having activated the function ^c^ceditaretino I can no longer open the dialog to edit the restraints if not typing _hatchedit, the double click function is activated but does not make me use it, and so also for editing the texts and polylinese etc etc.

problem 2

select an object, launch the command and object deselects eek:eek
if instead I launch the command and then select the object everything works, I make an example select a line and gate with the "erase" button, the line does not cancel but if I press the "erase" button and then select the line, the line cancels.. .

ps the message that appears in the command line every time I do the mythical double click is: select opposite angle

check that pickfirst and pickadd variables are set to 1

Thank you so much, but what are variables? I mean, pickadd already knew her but pickfirst what's the rule? Anyway, you saved my life... I was desperate!
