selection of objects

Hello.
I searched in the forum and in the help but did not find the solution.
when I make selections, for couplings or for measurements, selecting an object I can't take the face, it always takes me edges or vertices of that or other pieces that I don't care about.
I don't have filters activated, I don't know if I have activated or disabled other options.
