Good evening to all,
I write because I have to make renderings with 3ds and I'm not very practical.
I had set up a material that described me as "self-illuminating" or behaves as if there was no need to set particular lights and creates a self-portrait shadow, for each object
material is chalk type.
I already made external renderings in the past, with this material, and they all came well.
Now I have to make an interior rendering and I have seen that with this material, I have an area too in shadow, covering me a portion of scene.
Wouldn't there be a way to set some light? and how? Are this material and lights compatible?
(I also need some notions on the lights, because I never set them up)
Thank you so much to all! !

..so yes, you can set lights + materials...only you should tell us....the rendering engine you use....if I understand, you should look at some tutorials, because it is difficult to spy all the procedure here on a forum.........
Anyway... what engine to make use of?
