Hello, everyone!
I have a problem with autocad 2012 for mac. climb on the layout to disproportionate quantities.
in the work model in m in scale1:1, while in the layout in the stairs I can choose: Inches or mm. I usually set in the lay in m but now that I find myself in mm I lost and I have a territorial area to climb to 25000!

pls help me!

Hi tristan,
I'm sorry, but I can't climb. . What process do you use? I from the laytout entered the drawing I typed the button z (to send) and then the number of scalaxp example: z--->500xp

I use the list stairs. xp zoom no longer use it from....mhm...7-8 years!
autocad for mac does not have the list stairs? if you type scalelistedit what happens?

yes also in the mac has qsta function, a menu with all the stairs appears.. I need the scale to 25,000 up to 250,000 or 500,000
or I can't recognize it or cm I say no

cm do I create a scale from me?

in the drawing scales window add, give him the name and then impose:
unit paper 1000 = unit design 25000
It's easy, in your case you just have to always put 1000 in the card drive and the relative scale you need in the drawing unit.

so if I do cm you said you should work.. I remember that in the model I work in mm.
Last question whether in the model I worked in mm or in m in scale 1:1 how do I change in the layout create in the new scale list command?

I think you should decide which unit to use!
in the first post speak of m, then of cm and now of mm!
works on cartography at 25,000 and 500,000 with 1 autocad unit = 1 mm????? ?

I'm working! I have changed many times during these days to do the tests and nn sn arrived at nothing. I also noticed that it gives options-->preferences---> units&guides is automatic on mm... I'm going crazy. then I am working in m (confirm) scale 1:1 but on the options I have mm.. Do I put them in the m?

let you lose those settings in options, those affect the insert scales.
do the tests with the values I suggested.

Boys, maybe it would be the case of doing a nice autocad course, or at least reading a guide on the subject!
