set a scale in the layout

I have a problem with autocad 2012 for mac. climb on the layout to disproportionate quantities.
in the work model in m in scale1:1, while in the layout in the stairs I can choose: Inches or mm. I usually set in the lay in m but now that I find myself in mm I lost and I have a territorial area to climb to 25000!

in the drawing scales window add, give him the name and then impose:
unit paper 1000 = unit design 25000

I think you should decide which unit to use!
in the first post speak of m, then of cm and now of mm!
works on cartography at 25,000 and 500,000 with 1 autocad unit = 1 mm????? ?

I'm going crazy. then I am working in m (confirm) scale 1:1 but on the options I have mm.. Do I put them in the m?

let you lose those settings in options, those affect the insert scales.
do the tests with the values I suggested.
