Good morning to all,
I can't find the name of the setting that sets the position of the mask to create auxiliary parts.

I better explain, for a solid type part you can set in the config.pro command "template_solidpart" to specify the path of the file "mmns_part_solid.prt" that will be used when you want to create a new solid part.

I would like to be able to set the path of the mask "mmns_part_bulk.prt" to use in the creation of a part of type auxiliary but I do not find the command to use in the config.pro.

thanks and good day.

p.s. use creo 2.0.

I do not think there is the possibility to make a template for auxiliary elements, as it is done for part, together and table, but it can be created, starting from an existing one; at this point it is enough to put this standard auxiliary element, in the middle of the standard part and start from that, selecting it by hand.

below the links of the online guide:

thanks 320i s.
I did more research on the internet but I did not find a satisfactory solution.... :(
the best I found are:
1) provide it as a standard item and select it by hand, as you said.
2) the default program uploads a template "inlbs_part_bulk.prt" from the program installation directory. I went to replace this file with my model.

the bulk are rapresentations without geometry, without length, without mass and without unit therefore the speech wanting to set up unit by mask does not make sense.
There is no config option to set a default mask.
You can use a macro that does your job in one click.

However, if you have specific parameters that often return, it would make sense to have a dedicated start-part, especially if you reason to commit with client encoding and not as a dedicated library.

I agree,
I create my own template as I want and create a macro that recalls it (new part > bulk > template > ok)
