set table cell height

when I define the style of a table imposed as horizontal and vertical margin of a cell 1 unit, while the text height of 3 units. then when I go to create the table in the drawing imposed a column width of 30 units and a row height of 1 line. if I then mix the width of a cell this turns out to be rightly of 30 units, but instead the height of the row turns out to be of a measure not set by me. how can you precisely check the row height of a table? if I set as vertical margin 1 unit and text height 3 units, should the row height not be 5 units? autocad how do you define height? What do you mean by cell height expressed online?

A text is inserted in the cell, right? therefore the "line" is dimensioned according to the height of the text:wink:

example: margin 5, height text 20

cell height = 20+(20/3)+ 5*2 = 36,66666667

for what I remember the ratio of 1/3 there has always been in autocad, up from + old versions.
ie height text 9, width text (widht) 3, deafult.
then if you want to change you can do it, but it was a rule that had been given since the night of time......

I opened this discussion a long time ago when I faced having to create a table and I noticed this thing about the height of the cell. I also now noticed that autocad adds 1/3 of the text height to the upper and lower margin of the cell, and now the accounts are back. The only thing I don't understand is why.... go well thank you anyway:smile:
