set the size of the sheets in pdf prints

hello to all, I would kindly need your help. We talk about autocad 2008...I have to save a dwg file in pdf. I go to the print option and as a printer I choose "pdf creator". ..Just as I don't know how to save it so that the size of the sheets is respected (the drawing boards go in sheets of 106x2500cm) and therefore the scale of the drawing... I hope you can help me, thanks all in advance!

the process is the same as printing on paper.
from what I think I understand don't move from the layout but print directly from the model space.
I'll give you an example: We admit that you have worked in cm and want to print in scale 1:50 or 1cm = 50cm.
remembering that autocad reason (in the metric version) in mm it will be enough to express in mm the first term of the formula of the scale:
then instead of writing 1cm=50cm we will write: 10mm=50cm i.e. 10=50 but also 1=5 (I divide both members by 10 as the scale report is related). in the list scales you will only have to choose 1:5.
in good substance drawing in units different from mm requires a small variation in the choice of scale.
same speech for all other scales when working in cm just remove one zero from the scale factor: then 1:20 for us will be 1:2 and so.
if you work in m you still follow the same rule: for example 1m=100m turns into 1000mm=100m or 10=1.

in acad 2007-8 already exists the printer "dwg to pdf" in the drop-down list in the plot window and from there customize the sheet size
