Hello everyone,
I need an opinion.
I have 9 years of experience with proe2001 and now I am going to start working in a company that already has a wf3 license with cam but never used it.
I know that there are several changes from 2001 to the wf, but what I'm interested in asking you, since I have to evaluate the software situation regarding the use and the prior purchase of an additional license, is whether it is absurd to use the new license as wf3 to align myself to the other existing (saving money), or whether it is in any case convenient to spend additional money to upgrade the wf3 to wf5 (practically this cost operation).
I know that the question is very generic and that the best thing would be to update everything to the + recent version, but I would like to know from who is of the trade the main changes from wf3 to wf5. Thank you.

If you have no particular constraints with other suppliers, I would be in you to update directly to the wf5 for many reasons, one among all is that in the wf5 the graphical interface and improvements have been changed again compared to the wf3 there were really several.
if you do the jump you have to do it complete, this would be a jump in half , unless you have been out of maintenance for several years, the cost is not aligned, then consider that a passage to wf3 now would entail additional cost of updating to future releases in any case, without counting the training clearly.
So I think you'd spend more money anyway if you make an intermediate step, I don't see the sense or utility.
available for further information.
It's my job... :-)

greetings p-ozzy
