Hello everyone,
I am trying to shape in patran a shape memory wire (shape memory alloy, sma). I know that there is an entry in nastran called matsma, which allows to define all the main parameters of the material for a thermo-mechanical analysis. in preparing the model on patran, I tried to understand which command (or procedure) leads me to have such material, without obtaining results.
in the manual demonstration problems of nastran is explained as the .bdf file for analysis in nastran, but I wondered if it was possible to generate it from patran without writing the commands (with all the fields of matsma) in the .bdf file.
If anyone can give me any help in creating a sma in Patran I would be very grateful!
