in sw 2017 known strangeness in updating sheet metal parts to changing configuration... I don't remember if they were in the previous versions.
I create a skeleton part made only of sketches and put it in a set. has two configurations height 1 and height 2 with two heights for the vertical sketch.
I insert this skeleton part into a general assembly and equal in a subassembly. in this sub assembly I create a sheet part that "extruded" until the top of the vertical sketch of the skeleton part with a "external relationship in the context"
all files have a height1 configuration and a height2, and all configurations are matched with each other the same.
now I put myself in the outer axieme and change configuration height1-> height2 and vice versa. everything goes for the best and the sub assembly and the schelter part follow the change of configuration. the part in sheet no, also updating remains of the previous height and I have to open the sub assembly because it finally resizes.
This is a real trouble for the complex assemblies that see, when changing configuration, conflicts and inconsistencies emerge, for the sheet metal parts that do not want to know about the changed configuration, until the respective sub assemblies are opened.
Am I wrong? is a software bug that has solved with updates I don't have?
I add the simple attached model
