simplify imported polylines

Hello, I often import dxf of complicated profiles of plates, type organic forms, obtained from illustrator and converted into dxf. Sometimes the polylines of the dxf have a high number of points, even quite useless, for example 20 30 vertices along a stretch that could be approximated with a circle arc or even segment.
solidworks is very slow and often it is impossible to work because it is not done to manage sketches with a high number of points, rightly.
exists a way to approximate and convert a polyline with many vertices in few arches and segments, reducing the number of vertices? the operation should be automatic because polylines are many

if there exists in autocad, but to my personal experience. I've always arranged them by hand. a breakup, but then gains in successive timing and decrease of blasphemies drawn ahaha
