Good evening,
I introduce myself briefly as it is the first time I write on the forum:
my name is alessandro, civil engineer and temporary work at an engineering study (I take care of piping and stress analysis).
I started using inventor and modeling the flange was asked by the client to verify it through a fem analysis following an American law;
the problem is that this legislation is based on the calculation of max shear stress (trail stress) and inventor only returns to me the stress values of von mises (as well as the first and third main stress);
Is it possible to somehow achieve the performance of the strss valours according to tresca? ? ?
you could do customizing the results of the software but with the inventor I have in the studio I can not (I have inventor design suite 2013 and inventor simulation 2011, but with neither software I can customize the results).
