Singleframe omultiframe

Good evening to all

I am (....as always lately:biggrin in a small blind alley.

When I go restarting a simulation, it gives me the warning that the simulation will be singleframe while I need multiframes.

I saw that in the workbook did not write to me after the first loadstep the .ldhi files and the .rdb file needed for the multiframe.

the strange thing is that in the model to simulate I have a contact175/target169 and already for this should not be possible to run singleframe!! !

How can I do that?

I don't know much about restart but we can try to understand something together so I learn something too.. .
first question: classic ansys or workbench?
second question: direct or iterative solutor?
third question: did the nonlinearity act?

Maybe I could understand the hippo right now...

work in classic ansys
Direct solutor
with no active linearity

if you work in multifield and static analysis the multiframe is not possible.
with elements like plane13 (ux,uy,temp,volt) the only option is the singleframe restart.

from the signature I see you work in the bell (compliments), so you can also do analysis on composites?
