size window open

Hello everyone

do you know if there is a system to change the size of the "open" window and keep it?

every time I have to open a file I have to resize the window and it's a bit of a numbness...

after more than 2 years and two versions of mechanical (now I have 2014), the problem persists. possible that there is no solution? :frown:
