Hey, guys.
I write because I have a problem with how to use, use field and choice of the material for a sleeve with two guides for pins. This piece has been assigned to me for a project of the mechanical engineering cam course with the aim of making a working cycle and simulating the tool path in cam.vi allego the file.
thanks to all

Hi.
you are at the first msg
Perhaps a moment of presentation you could also subscribe
however you are welcome in the forum of cad3d.it
the communication of Italian designers

to avoid comparisons and any controversy
you advance that we are not university lighting
we have never written any essay or treatise of technologgia mecc
and we don't even think we can do it.
But I assure you that we know our trade

trying to understand your question
(sometimes students both university and itis ask incomplete questions
in front of a project for a more complete or at least more articulated examination)

what support is needed
which efforts must bear
the limits of wear
with which materials and technologies support is produced
which cnc you have available for
a sturgeon with cad/cam process

the posted design could go well for a commercial
from which he could take out a comm assessment.
would be the case of attaching a 2d with relative quota-tolerances of work
Shape tolerances
words and shortcomings
I hope you've been helped
Thank you very much

I ask susa but e" the first time I write to a forum someone would be so kind to tell me how to start a new discussion? Thank you.

hi shiren you're right I'm also a student of ing mecc and I'm using ansys for my thesis I'd like to start a new discussion and I have no idea how to do it if I wanted to help you I'd be very grateful
Thank you.

Hi.
also for you the rule of a minimum presentation
you are also welcome in the forum of cad3d.it

to start a new discussion go to
home page
all forums
find the forum you want
and up to six find the button starts new discussion
Thank you.

Thanks shiren! I also need to understand where to make my presentation as soon as I understand it I will! If you want to give me some light, I'll be grateful.

thanks:finger:

Welcome to the series of messages of this thread:Home Page.webp..or if there is no discussion for the presentations in the sections of your interest (many they have it) you can simply insert your new first message there to greet and present you.

try to avoid o.t. by opening sections and random discussions (like this) to ask questions about the use of the forum, which nothing has to do with the arguments in question.

greetings and welcome
Marco:smile:

Sorry shiren, I'm new and I don't know how to move.
You're completely right. I should've made a presentation and I'll try to fix it.
I am a 2 year specialist in mechanical engineering at the University of Salento. in this period I am following the last lessons of the cam course and I was assigned a project.
the purpose of the project is to draft a preliminary processing cycle and then go to simulate the tool path with the mastercam software. Once the part program is generated, I have to simulate it in veracut to see if there are any collisions between piece and machine or tool. once this part is carried out in the cae field with the simulation of the processing to the machine tools through deform to calculate the forces and temperatures in play. Finally, an optimization of the various input parameters will be carried out.
Since I have not much experience in the field, I would like to understand a possible use of this mechanical piece and understand that efforts must endure and therefore what material I have to use.
Excuse me again.
Thank you very much

Hi.
could be an adjustable support for tubular
in the hub do not see lamature for bearings
or instead of threading the pipe into the hole
it could be that the pipe hole fits into the hub
in case we can make aluminum
for mag efforts in spheroid cast iron
faces know
