snap object form

Hello
I imported a sketchup object
I am in conceptual design mode
I would like to review some columns that before were lines (which were inside the sketchup model) but I can't snap to hook me at the end of the line
Maybe I should change the work plan?
Any suggestions?

did you try to import it as a family, or open a new family (metric) and import the sketchup object?
