I have no experience in cad, 3d graphics, etc. Just a little basic with photoshop and I wanted to know some basic things, I practically have a stl file and I need to print it with 3d printer, I want to remove a writing and insert a different one and move holes in the opposite side and make small changes, but I don't know exactly where to start. . If it were with photoshop it would be much simpler, I understand the writing and taking the level of the photo and moving it on the other side, but here I do not know exactly where to put hand.. for now I have downloaded blender, meshlab and google sketchup..

First you need a program that reads stl files and can edit them, so check on the manufacturers sites that you can do the thing. then you will have to follow the basic tutorials of the program you want to use so you learn to use basic things and then you can take your model in hand and change it as you want.

meshlab opens file problems stl
blender import and export stl files
sketchup with a plugin import and export stl file

blender I've heard it's more professional, but at the end I just need to do that couple things for now:)

learning the use of a program takes time and dedication, maybe a course, it is impossible that in 3 lines written here you can understand something, also because you have a specific problem that we do not know, except from the short description you have made.

If you only have this immediate need and you want and you can send the file, make a detailed description of what you want to do (even with photoshop ), I with inventor open the stl files and, if I can, I will change it and send it back to you.
