What do you use to calculate the springs you use? Do you have any software/sheets to recommend?

I usually use the meter catalog but sometimes they need some special things to do even for drawing possibly.

It seems to me that there is a free sw for the calculation of the springs but I do not want to make the name because in the past there have been disguids.
if you want I send you in mp the link (if I remember it).
I also use sw of the various houses. if I'm not mistaken even if it has the form (only for classic) but I never used it.
For now I only have this!

hi looking on the internet I almost always found excel sheets for the sizing of compression springs, not to traction (although to the eye the traction one seems much less technical); in the first instance is it possible to make a parallel between stretching and compression springs of compression springs or the behaviour of "dead" coils is too different for parallelism?

Tensile springs work as compression springs only that in the opposite direction, need eyelets or hooks, if made with suitable specifications are precise objects such as compression ones.
