Good evening,

as from title I created a series of compression springs in family table. in the definition there were no particular problems, even in the execution of variable steps etc... the only question is: is it possible to define as column in family table the sense of winding (if right or left)? Can someone tell me (if there is) the correct symbol or parameter?
this we need because in stock there are springs with same characteristics of step, diameters etc... However, they differ only from the sense of winding, because they are usually coupled in parallel to other springs with opposite winding.

Thank you very much

Since no one has "illuminated" I solved in the following way: I created another feature of helical sweep sx with characteristics equivalent to the corresponding dx (by means of simple relationships of equality); then in family table I went to activate the dx sweep in the dx springs (disactivating the left) and vice versa for the left springs.
the matter seems so resolved, apart from the fact that the sx regenerate in several jokes, i.e. pressing about 3 times ctrl+g

you can make a couple of all surfaces,
break this surface,
remove the material with the first surface,
fill the mirrored surface,
make a group,
add this group to family table.

There are also high solutions, but this way can be used with an already extinguishing model and the way is not complicated.

It's the same thing I did... But fortunately I don't have your problem during regeneration! !
