Good evening, everyone.
I am a civil engineering student and in leisure I attend a study to try to learn even something practical.
I would like to go into the world of architectural design + rendering to have some extra expertise that can always serve.

in the study where I go use software happen like edilus, termus, etc. are also evaluating the purchase of buildingsus that if I have not understood wrong does both (drawing + render) and also is compatible with the other software of the manufacturer. So I wanted to know if buildingsus can already be a complete solution and if anyone who uses it considers it valid.

another solution I was thinking about was to use revit for architectural modeling + 3d max study for rendering (at the moment I can still use student versions).

What do you think? do you have anything else to recommend?

Hi.
I saw the products on the show, but I never tried them, not even a demo.
I know that they find a certain diffusion in Italian because they follow the Italian norms of calculation and production / assistance is Italian.

there are many programs that do what you ask: revit, allplan, archicad, buildingsus and more. since you are a student, since you have no immediate needs, and you don't know what will happen to you in the future. Perhaps you might be more useful to try numerous programs and understand the logic of operation of the different solutions. You're gonna make it special, then.

otherwise risk of being “closed” in a microcosm of competence falls for a 20-30 age is perhaps preferable a greater mental openness.

thanks for the answers.
the problem is that time is what it is. So I would like mainly to learn something that can be a definitive solution we say and then if it remains time I could also address some other speech.

of "definitive" in computer / cad there is never anything.
However, you already use the products, if you add them to them by studying them on your own revit, as suggested by tristan. I think it's a good base.

I can suggest archlines my whole life! 2d-3d-section-prospect software integrated. . without counting that it is a bim. you can also make renderings, overlapping tables, photo inserts, etc. what you need, all in one software! very nice and especially intuitive... and then it's not even expensive

Thank you for taking a look;)
