Hello everyone, I have been wondering what the program is most suitable for my needs, place the image, I work on axes of dwg files, so with many blocks to manage, they are crates for galleries (place the image). Currently use mechanical but looks very heavy and "precated" for such work.
Can you tell me which program best fits this job?

I know they give me all the drawings in 2dimensions but you could not quickly make sure they see in 3d? in the end they are all for offers to customers so the details can "bear"

thanks to the attention

dear jim78b, if they are of the 2d it will be difficult to make them appear as 3d if before do not develop them in 3d.
Second observation: 3d development becomes heavy if done as solid full, while it is more manageable if done only with surfaces. but depends on the surrender you have to get.

sure in the end it is better a good 2d right? but in the end you use the mechanical but it is not really pure mechanics!it is convenient because it has the option that you can hide the objects, treatments etc (which sometimes freezes) and then makes the lines of automatic halfway, maybe sometimes happens to make symbols of the holes you have in the libraries....you know something more slender fast and beautiful than the mechanical? Thank you very much.

Hell thank you, but why you seem expert to me....thank you the same I hope someone will look at the post!!!

try to post any design, which we see how complex it is, reporting the elements you need to extrude in 3d.

Okay, I'm the place, but I think it's better to find a good 2d on purpose not?

in red are the crates in the gallery, but they are made from profiles, plates, holes re-entry is too complex I would take too long!

Well, it's gonna be the heat that starts to be heard! ! ! !
white elements are to be extruded, but if you do not attach the file in dwg, how do you hope that you can extrude from the jpg? I mean it!

I put a dwg file with the type design that happens to me often....in fact being of diegni in autocad 2d there is little to do, just seems to me "precated" autocad mechanical

Look if this is what you mean with white profiles to extrude.
attentive to the geometries that are not exactly the best, and then what are the details not to consider?

ah thank you I understood how to do, yes but in the end it is hard to waste time...the customer only needs to see the product however thanks to the same of your availability. ..discretion but on this site are all self-employed or employees? ? ?

But what are you? free professional? I can't find work as a free lance you have names?

hi jim78b, in order to understand what could be the best way to deal with your work, you would need to analyze the flow of data.
In practice, you need to understand what data you get, what data you already have, what data you need to obtain, how much time you currently use to do this job and you are qualitatively satisfied with it.
once punctualized these aspects, you do some tests with different mechanical cads and you experience what is most suitable for your cycle or your work cycles.

I think this is the starting point.
