Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I can't really solve. I am trying to build a wing or at least the skin of a wing starting from a wing profile that I obtained with the following method:
1)Presing the .dat file that connects the coordinates of the points
2)I turn it into .dxf
3)I make it open in catia
4)Evidentity and Coptic
5)vade in the sketcher and neckline
all well done here this create of the offset plans and project it on these plans. at this point to have a realistic wing that has at least a bit of arrow and a final winglet I want to translate the profiles after the first in their plane and perhaps as it approaches the tip of the wing reduce them in size. Instead the profile turns out as if you could not translate, i.e. activated the translation the profile is selectable but not moveable, same thing for the resize through the constraint icon selects the size that goes from the edge to the exit one and when I try to change turns out a dimension that cannot be changed.

the only thing I can think of is that being the profile the result of a copy and paste catia does not give me the possibility to change its size and position regarding the axes that from the initial design they copy together to the profile and are glued to the sketch.
Can someone tell me how to make them editable or indicate another way to create alar profiles on the sketch?

Now I read it, I had already seen somewhere this thing to interface with excel hope not to give the same result that with my method, but I do not think because as I remember with excel you create the points that then you have to go to join with the right spline?
anyway thanks to the straight.

just tried it works well and the profile turns out as I wanted mobile in any direction. only contraindication is that obviously all the points generated by the excel remain in sight, I would rather see only the coil but every time I try to erase a point while removing the tick to the option "elimina all the children" eliminates me along with it the stretch of spline which departed from that point :s I do not know why.

Yes I had thought about it but it is 50 xd points to hide them one by one it will take a life! Don't you think of any other solution?

just use the search command to the element, select one point, launch the search, valid and then hide

in my opinion it would be better to gather all points of a section (e.g. a) under a geometrical set points a . the spline calls it spline a and so on for the other sections or you can put it under another geometrical set spline a or spline . in this way if you have to see the points of the section a , just highlight the geometrical set points a (or b or c or what you need).
Then you can arrange the geometrical set a bit as it makes you more comfortable, as long as it is functional to what you have to do.
