I am trying to create a ground starting from a dwg file where I have points and their odds.

is there an automatic tool to import the file and generate a 3d soil with its level curves?

Thank you.

hi, this is how I use it with revit 2012 but I think it is identical also for previous versions:
1) import dwg file with level curves
(2) volume and planimetry > topographic surface creates from import > select imported instance
3)Selections imported dwg
4)Selections the layers concerned> ok
5) surface area
6) et voilà surface ready

I hope you solve your problem,
bye

I think it is very difficult to say that I have been doing differently and in fact it seems much more immediate.
