Hi, I need some advice.
I have a block, to which I should remove a part that should follow the course of a sheet (to explain better, it is a dowel on which they will affix a shell).
I can't get out of it, can anyone help me?
I am sorry for the banality of the question but I have just passed to inv, and I still do not know him so well!

and who remembers it inv 11!

However a method can be this:
make a fictitious assembly where you place your block and your sheet bound in the right position:
then:
-new file where you enter with the drift command (hiking that there was in rel 11), your set.
during the insertion highlight your sheet and click on the red bubble at the top "take component"
at this point you have the block divided into two parts.
use the "elimina face" command to "destroy" the block that you don't need.
There are probably other methods, but it's the first one that came to mind.

inventor 11 e' una cosa, 2011 un'altra.
inventor 11 e' del 2007 se non ricordo male.
il tuo allora e' praticamente la versione ancora in corso :finger:, percio' le istruzioni che ti ho dato vanno benissimo se si tratta di usare delle parti gia esistenti come nel tuo caso...e poi non e' macchinoso, basta farci un po' di mano, come tutte le cose..:smile:

comunque oggi pomeriggio dovrei tornare nuovamente su quel tassello, proverò come mi hai detto tu..
magari mentre lo faccio mi risultrà più naturale, a leggerlo mi sembra una complicazione: basterebbe poter fare un taglio seguendo la superficie della lamiera, solo che quando si passa dall'ambiente assembly al part non lascia "toccare" nient'altro che non sia il part stesso, a differenza di catia (vado a memoria è qualche anno che non lo uso) che lasciava inserire nel part un offset di una lamiera evidenziandolo dall'assieme, e poi con quella fare il taglio..
comunque, ogni programma il suo modo di lavorarci.. dovrò imparare bene anche questo... :biggrin:

a leggerlo mi sembra una complicazione

per evitare questi problemi mi sono comprato rhino, 950€ spesi bene.
la mia assistenza dice che le stesse cose si fanno con alias, che ora è nel pacco autodesk subscription con inventor 2012, ma io non riesco a farlo e non ho voglia di perdere tempo.
qualcuno me lo conferma ?
