solid step...which is not solid

dear, good year to all! I'm here to ask you for help on a little problem. in the company came a component designed with swx 2012: it is an attack (with very complex shape) for an exhaust pipe. here we work in proe wf4 and, consequently, we have turned the step of the particular.
my question is: why if I open the step in swx I have a solid and in proe I have a group of surfaces? Why can't the proe see the solid while saving the step as solid?
thanks:finger:

because you could have a precision part problem.
in pro/e you have a default accuracy that may not be appropriate to the exported file.
Try to use different precision and solidify surfaces or use a start part with different precision for component creation.

Thank you max. I will present the problem: the config is blocked and we cannot change it. I don't think there's any other roads, do I? :frown:

If you can try sending me the file, so I will fix it and take it back from creo, maybe you "digest" it better.

Thank you, dear. precision was already set on absolute :frown:. Unfortunately I have no way to send the file.
exists a command that allows you to view faulty surfaces, so you can change them by hand?
Thank you.

Thank you.
the import data doctor is the set of commands you are looking for.
I do not remember in wf4 what are the differences regarding the latest versions but you should be able to access by right-clicking in the template tree on imported feature > change definition.

Yes, indeed. I'm trying to repair the surfaces one by one... it's a lot. I wondered if there was a command, similar to the one in swx, which highlights the surfaces that just do not go and the games between them. But I don't think he is.
