Is it possible to install solid works 2009?
I can't because when the installation starts after a few seconds it throws me out!!

1) from solidworks 2010 sp1 there is support to windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
2) you must however be sure that they give you the files for 64-bit (not everyone knows that they are different)
3) Solidworks spins puppy on virtualbox at display level.
For example, if you give up a function and when you go out you keep seeing the property manager of the works you edited before.
Plus there's a lot more than that.
If you have to put it on a vm, the only one that goes well and vm of vmware.
