solidworks 2010

Good morning to all, I recently installed sw 2010 sp.3.1 on my computers. for the needs of some of my customers we are forced to keep installed both sw2008 and 2010. I noticed, compared to 2009 that the works seem slower and also, that is perhaps the most serious thing, it slams me out with a certain frequency. Does that happen to qulc another?

slower than in 2008 I wouldn't say...
with assemblies created in 2010 is definitely faster, at least with big assemblies.
As for bugs, the first service packs in 2010 were sucking...now I'm using the 4 and it finally seems stable.
every now and then it gives me some problem with the regeneration of couplings in complex assemblies, but it can also give itself that it is my fault for creating assemblies not really well done.

I also did not detect big problems with sp4 but sincerely even with those after sp2.

the concept of speed is relative in the sense that on the same pc degrades over time the performance and obviously the new releases are more charged. if it is all set well sw2010 will not be "fast" on the same pc where sw2008 turns but it will be more productive than two different concepts.

the speed also depends on the potential of the pc (ram, ram video, etc.) and those of the network used. I personally found some basins in the 2010 version that on 2007 were not there, but the system sincerely implanted me less... Hi.

also we in the company did the passage from sw2008 to w 2010 and putroppo confirm what you say.... 2008 was planted less than 2010... at the level of performance things have not varied
