I wanted to introduce something that I think would be useful, at least for me....
when last night I used the staggering feature on "lamiera" I had the usual "problem" that always comes to the bending, that is that you do not have the management of the length between the 2 folds that I have to create but only the management of the corner. I say this because I think it is better to have the management of the distance between the folds, where I can consider a minimum measure according to the matrix that strikes and the angle will therefore be only a consequence!

What do you think? could it be a solid 2012 advice?

those are the proposte of news of January 2011, not confirmed 100% for betas or official release.
when the beta officially leaves you cannot talk about what is contained in the beta.

1) What does your request have to do with the participation in the 2012 beta?
2) there's something you want, but would you like the others to ask?
3) you want a solidworks implementation, why don't you do an er?
4) Are you sure there isn't already?

I try to explain better what I meant.

I very ignorantly use flange corner cuts to create staggering taking into account the bending lines that must have a minimum distance between them that I decide...the angle comes accordingly! However maybe I'm not good at using the command in question and I was wondering if there was a better way or if the 2012 version was "different", that's all.
Then, as I can draw/learn only in the evening after dinner because the day I piego lamiere, it is not that I can try the version 2012 but I limit myself to use 2011 to make those 2-3 details before resting..... :finger:

the two ways to improve solidworks are the er and beta period.
That said, open an appropriate discussion about your problem, let's not go ahead here where the subject is anything else.
