How to install the two software on the same machine?
by writing: I realized that there will be win7 64bit on the new machine to turn sw12, while for solidedge I have version 17.
Will it work?
Has anyone tried yet?:confused::confused:

you can install all the cads you want on the same machine, only the v17 works on xp and not on win 7 so you may have problems, colleagues have installed v18 and it works but it is not said that it is also worth the v17

I have them both (swx 2012 and if v18) and they work.

there was some problem with swx 2009, which claimed to appropiarsi also of the extensions of solid edge files, but it seems to me that with 2012 this drawback is exceeded.

As tequila said, good luck with v17 on win7-64.

p.s. maybe you will have to disable aero and use a simil-win95 style to make it work if v17.

Okay, more than anything, I was afraid of file extensions. .
As for win7, I don't know it, but I also think there's a way to emulate previous versions of win.
Unfortunately the license of if it comes to me until 17 and I want to keep that.

bho when it comes to the new car we'll see.

thanks to all:finger:
