Hi.
I found (for precision I found) the voice to create a public discussion. . First I only created a conversation that can only be private and that I didn't know, now I will remember.
that I go to the therefore. I can't activate the surface tab from the toolbar and then where is the cut command to cut according to a surface?

If you're in a service contract, try to hear them. bars must be activated according to licenses. the surface bar comes with the basic version.
Complete uninstall advice of registry keys and reinstall.

the section where you wrote is wrong. the subject has nothing to do with mechanical design. was opened in the solidworks section.

you do not want to learn by doing things randomly or following tutorials on youtube,because modeling with wrong methods or deriving from other software will make you hostical the program day after day

first do the tutorials between so as to learn the logic of the program, which while being parametric like other 3d, has its own peculiarities. when you have a bit of familiarity you can approach advanced modules like those of surfaces, which are not at all trivial, and understand whether a video on youtube is done well or not.

From the title I imagine it is the solidworks bar and not catia (in the user profile I see catia).
@emanuele fat, the basic license of solidworks includes surfaces, to help you need some extra info. What version do you use? do you want to see the surfaces in the command manager (ribbon) or use the old windows toolbars?
