Hey, guys.
I am a proe user, but I think it's time to broaden my knowledge (and given the times that the curriculum also runs). Can you suggest me the best way to learn how to use solidworks?
Do you know tutorials, manuals? Where can I find them?
you know if there are courses (unfortunately I am a little in economic narrowness) organized in my area, or florence? Do you think I can date them as private?

Thank you since now.

I can help you.

solidworks provides a great tutorial, I think we all started from there. if you go to solidworks.it you also find the dispensers with final questions to verify the learning.
then do a search for videos on the network, there are many on youtube.

as for all things the best way to learn it is to use it.
Since you already operate with a parametric cad (you say, no?) you will not have big problems, just find the commands.
Clearly, you need the software to try it; see here at the official website if the "educational" version is still downloadable in proof:http://www.solidworks.com/sw/esp/4644_enu_html.htmmanuals or third-party guides I know are not (besides the officers who sell you on request along with the program). the tutorials instead are plentiful and the first to consider, as remembered by marcof, is rightly the online program, very simple and well done (pass-pass). as well as the guide is complete.
on the net you find a lot of stuff between youtube and others (search solidworks with google) and in this same forum in the discussion resources for users. . there is a long list of links.

courses clearly make them retailers (very expensive; to "go" along with the purchase of the program) and sometimes agencies/schools for professional training (see in your area if there is something, they are often subsidized by regions and save a lot).

but I repeat, the best thing is to use it.

greetings
Marco:smile:

thank you all,
I just have to find the time and start squeezing a little.
I downloaded the test of 90 from the suggested link and tonight I will leave with the installation. . .
Hopefully... .

Hi.

on ebay you will find tutorials a few dozen dollars, downloadable from ftp site or with sending the cd home. are complete and valid exercises that range from the base level to the evolved one.

Hi.

by personal experience (using sw and I went to pro-e) the standard course is a bit wasted, given the costs; in the sense that knowing already a 3d, learning to use the commands is not particularly complex and then there is already the guide to start doing it. or you can calibrate the course on your needs, otherwise it is more useful to practice what you already draw.
