solidworks explorer sw 2017: impostazione

hello to all;
not having the pdm, I am trying to use solidworks explorer;
I have all the files locally, so it shouldn't give me the old famous problems due to the network.
I happen, however, to set the search directors in the options/sets;
click on apply and then on ok;
I come out of the explorer, I return and I do not find the directors saved;

Why?
What's wrong?

Unfortunately it is a problem that I also had, but having files saved on servers, I contacted the assistance and from what I understood is a problem of indexing the operating system (win7) bho?! If you can find a solution would be useful to me too...
